| Places like this is what makes guys like me remember the glory days, when our old "Hot Rods" really burned rod bearings, and, for those of you that didn't know it, that's where they got the name .. Hot Rods .. The first "V8" I know of was the Ford "Little 60" made in 1932 to 1945, I think, and it was 60 horse power, and turned a whopping 4000 rpm ... (but not for long) This is my buddy Ron's Rod Shop here in Okc. Ron carry's parts for MayTag gasoline motors, "T" Model Fords, and by the way, Wooden body's seen below are actually New Old Stock body's, Ford "Woody" and a "Boat Tail" Roadster ... |
